Certified Applied Positive Psychology Coach (CAPPC)

The Certified Applied Positive Psychology Coach (CAPPC) program is the first of its kind to integrate the fields of positive psychology and coaching psychology with the practical application of evidence-based coaching to enhance wellbeing, strengths, potential and performance.

The IPPC is at the forefront of the emerging field of Applied Positive Psychology Coaching by developing a cutting-edge, science-backed advanced coach training curriculum for leadership coaches and organizations.

The program is split into two levels and contains 129 ICF continuing education credits in total. Study is conducted through online digital recordings, so you can complete the program conveniently at your own pace (up to 6-12 months).

A Certificate of Completion is awarded after five courses are completed at Level 1.

Level 1

Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology Coaching

Your journey with the IPPC starts here. To achieve a Certificate, students must complete five core courses.

During Level 1, you’ll learn the foundational components, theories and concepts of applied positive psychology coaching using the IPPC’s methodology of an integrated approach to positive psychology, coaching psychology and evidenced-based coaching so you can achieve the following outcomes:

Outcome #1

Acquire cutting-edge, science-backed knowledge, tools and techniques in Applied Positive Psychology Coaching and immediately apply evidence-based approaches to your own coaching practice.

Outcome #2

Learn from expert faculty with a hybrid of experience as scholars, researchers, coaches, trainers, lecturers and practitioners in the field with an average practical experience of 15 years.

Outcome #3

Become confident in learning and using scientifically validated strategies and techniques for optimal results and impact to your clients.



What’s included in our Level 1 Certificate?

Compulsory Courses

There are five digital recorded courses in total – (35 hours of recordings and 25 hours of exercises and assignments). You can earn up to 60 ICF credits; core competencies (CC) and resource development (RD).

Evidence-Based Practicum

To achieve a Diploma with 69 ICF credits, students must complete all elements of the practicum and the Practicing Applied Positive Psychology Coaching course.

During Level 2, you’ll learn how to fully integrate Applied Positive Psychology Coaching approach into your own coaching practice. You will also participate in live practicum classes and receive supervision and mentoring to enhance your personal growth and business so you can achieve the following outcomes:
