According to the APA, 71% of people facing mental health challenges never receive adequate care and 46% of mental health professionals and wellness practitioners can’t meet the demands for their services. In a world where mental health challenges increasingly go unaddressed, how can we harness the power of technology to bridge the resulting gap in mental health and wellness care?
Artificial Intelligence methodologies, in particular Natural Language Processing (NLP), have evolved at a surprising speed since the early 2000s. This rapid evolution has inspired new methodologies for assessing well-being at the individual and collective level, offering novel opportunities to leverage the science of positive psychology and coaching psychology to increase flourishing in the world.
