Somatic work is working with the body. The body of our experience is unconscious, so how do we work on a conscious level with clients from an unconscious somatic perspective?
So much of what enables us to achieve our goals or what acts as an obstacle to us achieving our goals is outside of our awareness. Working somatically can help us and our clients to be more aware of our unconscious strengths and resources that are used by the body either negatively or positively.
Somatic coaching is much more than the conscious analysis of body language, gesture and tone of voice. All of these are important considerations however, somatic work invites you and your client into a kinesthetic experience before words, before goals and beyond obstacles.
This workshop – which is part of The Enrichment Series – is for coaches, practitioners and professionals without a coaching background who are interested in personal and professional development, and exposure to Positive Psychology, Positive Psychology Coaching, Evidence-Based Coaching, and beyond.
