Our mission

As an institute, we seek to empower our students with the science, skills and evidence-based tools to enhance the wellbeing, strengths and potential of themselves and others.

The IPPC was created based on the understanding and knowledge that coaching is a noble endeavor, and that coaches are transformation agents who value uplifting others and building a thriving practice that incorporates evidence-based research.

After extensive study, the IPPC’s Founder discovered a gap in coach training. Currently, there are diverse interpretations of the practice of positive psychology coaching, from applying positive psychology to coaching approaches to overlaying coaching with positive psychology interventions.

The IPPC exists to bridge this gap using an integrated approach to positive psychology coaching, bringing the best of the science and practice from positive psychology and coaching psychology and combining it with evidence-based coaching for optimal results.

Fun fact: Comet welcomes anyone at the door with a toy.

Favourite Hobbies: Eating, riding in cars and sitting on the porch.
